A Message for the Earth — Word Cloud 💬
Working in small groups, my students explored how individual voices come together to create collective impact. Using Mentimeter, they added meaningful wishes and promises for the Earth, watching the live word cloud grow on the screen. This playful digital activity helped them practise expressing personal responsibility, understanding shared values, and reflecting on their role as young eco-citizens. Their final shared message — “Protect the Earth” — showed a growing sense of ownership and care.
Earth Day — Mission Padlet 🧭
Through a series of mission stations on Padlet, children shared eco-friendly actions and paired them with AI-generated images. This activity encouraged critical thinking about everyday choices, creativity in visual communication, and a sense of real-time collaboration with partner schools. The students showed genuine excitement as they explored other schools’ posts, responded with positive comments, and recognised that environmental action grows stronger when communities work together.

Project Song — Sing-Along 🎶
To close our eco-themed project, we gathered to sing the project song together. Music helped the children connect emotionally with the project’s values — kindness, responsibility, and teamwork. Singing as a group fostered confidence, joy, and a sense of belonging while reinforcing the message that caring for the Earth is both meaningful and fun.
